I was amazed by the website designed by Hervé Boinnard for our film club. We needed a simple and effective way of pointing our potential members to the films we show each season and give them a brief outline of the storyline along with a clip to the film. The website Hervé designed for us looks fantastic, is easy to follow and best of all the default home page changes to the particular film we are to be showing next. Magic!

Authipay brought to you by AIB Merchant Services offers a convenient way to accept online payments. Authipay provides a combined payment gateway facility and merchant account services (one contract, one bill; quicker boarding process, merchant account and gateway all in one; with competitive pricing).
This plugin uses the Connect solution and the hosted payment page from Authipay. With this easy option, you use ready-made form pages for the payment process that are provided and host on AIB Merchant Services authipay servers. Your customer will be forwarded to Authipay when it comes to payment and can enter the sensitive cardholder data on their SSL-encrypted page. This option facilitates compliance with the Data Security Standard of the Payment Card Industry (PCI DSS) as the payment processing is completely hosted by AIB Merchant Services authipay.
Afterwards the customer will be redirected to your VirtueMart shop. Your system will be notified about the payment result, so that VirtueMart can automatically update the order with the details of the transaction, and eventually send the confirmation email to your customer. In the VirtueMart back end, you will find all the details of the Authipay transaction: Approval code, Transaction status, Terminal ID, etc.
You will require a AIB Merchant Services Authipay account in order to use the Puma-IT Authipay plugin. For instructions on how to setup our plugin, please visit our documentation section.

With the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) deadline falling on Saturday, 14 September 2019, we received a lot of questions and enquiries from clients and prospective customers asking us for clarification on what to expect. The following explains this in some detail.
What are SCA, PSD2 regulations, 3D Secure 2?
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is part of the new requirements to authenticate online payments which will be introduced in Europe as part of the second Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
Currently, the most common way of authenticating an online card payment relies on 3D Secure—an authentication standard supported by the vast majority of European cards. Applying 3D Secure typically adds an extra step after the checkout, where the cardholder is prompted by their bank to provide additional information to complete a payment (e.g. a one-time code sent to their phone or fingerprint authentication through their mobile banking app).
Some websites, desktop and mobile applications may break from October 2021
